Using the Zilara Holding Tank

Save this page and use it as a reference. There is a big difference between knowing how to place someone and understanding when and where to place them.

1Becoming Executive and Getting Binary Qualified

One of the first goals for a new member is becoming Executive, because this makes you eligible to receive Binary commissions. There are two basic requirements.

Maintain at least 50 in personal monthly volume, and personally enroll one person on your left and one person on your right, with each maintaining at least 50 in monthly volume.

Important: those personally enrolled people have to actually be placed into the Binary before the system recognizes the qualification. That does not mean you should rush to place them.

2Why You May Not Want To Place People Right Away

Your Binary volume does not flush just because you have not reached Executive yet, so you do not necessarily need to rush your first two enrollments out of your Holding Tank to become Executive. You can use the Holding Tank strategically during your placement window instead.

You cannot place people underneath yourself until your sponsor has placed you. If your sponsor is also strategically using their Holding Tank, this might be why you have not been placed yet. Once your sponsor places you in the Matrix, you can begin Matrix placement. Once your sponsor places you in the Binary, you can begin Binary placement.

3Matrix vs Binary

The Matrix and Binary are two completely separate structures. Placing someone in one does not automatically place them in the other. You can place someone in the Binary today, leave that same person in the Matrix Holding Tank, and place them into the Matrix later. They do not need to happen at the same time.

Matrix: think of the Matrix as an additional way to help people begin receiving small commissions, even people who have not personally referred anyone. To maintain a Matrix position, the member needs 10 volume points per month. If they do not maintain the required volume by the end of the month, they will lose their Matrix position. Your rank is not determined by your Matrix.

Binary: your Binary is much more important because it determines your rank. Your rank is determined by how many Binary cycles you generate during a rolling 30 day period. For example, 5 cycles is Bronze and 10 cycles is Silver. As your Binary volume grows and you generate more cycles, you progress through the ranks.

4The 7 Day Holding Tank

Both the Matrix and Binary have a 7 day Holding Tank. When you personally enroll someone, you do not have to decide immediately where that person should be placed. You have a window to determine the best placement. If you do not manually place the person by the deadline, the system will automatically place them according to the applicable placement settings. Keep track of the date each person enrolled.

5Using The Holding Tank To Create Momentum 🔥

Here is where the strategy gets interesting. Imagine you personally enroll 2 people on day one. Instead of immediately placing them, they sit in your Holding Tank. Now you can legitimately tell another prospect something like this.

I've already got people in my Holding Tank. If you get started now, I might be able to place someone underneath you, which could help you build volume and rank faster.

Notice the word might. Never promise someone that they are going to receive people underneath them. If day two brings 2 more enrollments, that's 4 people, day three brings you to 6, and day four brings you to 8. As your Holding Tank grows, so can the excitement and momentum around your launch. You are creating a reason for someone to make a decision now rather than waiting.

6Priority Placement

One strategy is priority placement. You might tell a serious prospect that people who start immediately with 100 in volume may receive priority consideration when you are determining placement. Prioritize 100PV members to maximize the compensation plan.

Never guarantee spillover or placement. Use words like “I might be able to place people underneath you.” Spillover should be viewed as a potential benefit, not something anyone should depend on. Everyone should approach the business with the mindset that they are responsible for building both legs.

7How To Place Someone In The Matrix

  1. Go to your Matrix Holding Tank. You will see the person's enrollment date and placement information.
  2. Choose Update Placement. Your Sponsor ID should automatically appear, do not change the Sponsor ID.
  3. Copy your ID number and paste it into the Placement ID field, then click Update.
  4. There is no are you sure confirmation. Once you click Update, the placement occurs. The Matrix does not require you to select left or right, the system puts the member into the next available Matrix position.

8How To Place Someone In The Binary

  1. Go to your Binary Holding Tank and choose Update Placement. Your Sponsor ID should already be displayed, do not change it.
  2. Put your ID into the Placement ID field, then select Left or Right, then click Update.
  3. Again, there is no confirmation screen. Once you click Update, the placement is submitted. It may take some time before the member appears visually in your Binary graph.

9Identify Your Power Leg or Team Leg

Go to My Team, then Binary Team Graph, and look at your left and right legs. If your upline organization is building and placing people underneath one side of your Binary, that side may become your power leg or team leg. For some people it will be left, for others it will be right. Ask your sponsor which side they anticipate being your team or power leg.

Remember, never rely on spillover. There is no guarantee that your upline will place people underneath you. Treat this as your business and be prepared to build both sides.

10Second Position or Spouse Strategy

You are also able to enroll your spouse, family members, or additional eligible positions. A second position can be strategically placed in your smaller pay leg rather than your power leg.

For example, if your left side is your power leg, you could place your spouse or second position on your right side. That second position would maintain the required monthly volume to remain Binary qualified. As you continue personally enrolling people through your primary position, those enrollments get placed down the right side underneath the second position, so Binary volume begins accumulating underneath the second position too.

11The Double Dip Strategy 💰

Imagine your primary position has left as the power or team leg and right as the pay leg, with your spouse or second position sitting at the top of the right leg. You continue building your main top position.

Eventually, after your primary position has built momentum, for example after reaching a rank such as Gold, you could begin personally enrolling new people through the second position's referral link. Those new enrollments can generate volume for the second position and potentially for your original position above it too. Qualifying Binary volume underneath the second position may contribute to cycling the top position, which is the idea behind cycling twice on the same organizational volume, assuming the other qualification and leg volume requirements are satisfied.

This is a more advanced strategy, so work with your sponsor or upline before implementing it.

12Holding A Position For A Future Builder

Another advanced idea is establishing and maintaining an eligible additional position and allowing volume to accumulate underneath it. Imagine six months from now you meet a serious network marketing leader. An established position could be more attractive than asking that person to start from scratch, since they could take over and build that position with volume already in place.

13Keep Your Holding Tank Turned On

This is very important. Go to Account, then Update Personal Info, and look for Enable Enrollment Placement Hold. This is enabled by default. When enabled, your personal enrollments go into the Holding Tank until you enter their placement information or the applicable placement period expires. Keep this enabled so you maintain control over placement.

14People Can Also Create A Free Account

Prospects have the ability to create a free account, which sets up their back office account without requiring an immediate product purchase, so they can explore the system. A free member will not have access to all compensation components without meeting the applicable product or volume requirements, but this can still be a useful option for someone who is not ready to purchase immediately.

15Customize Your Website and Profile

  • Upload your picture.
  • Add your Facebook username under Account, then Update Personal Info.
  • Review your replicated website, and customize your website name under Marketing Tools, then Change Site Name, so it shows your name instead of a random ID number.
  • ⚠️If you change your replicated site name after distributing your old URL, previously distributed links using the old address will no longer work, so it is smart to customize this early.
